04 TD4 Freelander - any advice appreciated

Any help on this query would be most appreciated:

I'm looking at buying a 04 TD4 Freelander SE which has done 68,000kms. I'm completely new to landys and unsure what to look for or checkout before purchase. I've read about turbo problems etc but not sure if it this exact model that has problems.

The TD4 is the best model. However, as with all second hand cars, a thorough inspection is essential. Check VCU and all electric gadgets especially. plenty of advice on this forum, but you need to filter out the naysayers and info about other models, ie the petrol engines and older transmissions.
