They aren't but with the low mileage your doing it shouldn't really go wrong all that often. Don't tempt fate though.

Besides after 9k & 1 year your maintenance costs should include oil, filters, possible breathers etc.

I agree, have you not carried out any routine maintenance at all in that time?

It is due a service now as it had one when i bought it. Just the usual checks, oil water crankshaft breather. Been excellent!

Perfect time to invest in it, go right round and do all fluids, flush out all the hoses, replace the filters, check everything, and you'll be more confident of it giving you another 12 months of peace and quiet.

ha mine has cost me a service bits n bobs, oil, injector seals, two check straps, a window regulator, a wishbone bush and I thought mine was doing good

Don't talk to me about wishbones, or drop links or arb mounts or upper strut mounts or track rod ends (did eventually get rid of the knocking/rattling - each bit replaced cured it a little at a time) but seriously it has been a good car so far.

steady - i've just had an £800 quid bill on mine after I sung it's praises.

In over 4yr, 2 x windows motors, 1 x power steering pump, 1 x starter motor. Total ex main - £1200 quid and I do a bit myself.

Change your crank case breather - most back street garages don't, oil, fluids like the guys said and cross your fingers.
