I can see a use for it, but, not for £15k - i know Withams isn't the cheapest for things (apart from the occasional tender bargain)

surely that mileage can't be genuine..? 2779 miles...it must have been mothballed for years...

Possibly just sat somewhere all its life, I do vehicles for UKBA (customs) and they have got 2 vans, both 12 years old, both just hitting 2000 miles. All they do is sit on the port playing CD's (foriegn language instructions for customs) all day...

Unbelievable...I suppose we did have about 20 chinook's sitting in a hanger for 10 years cos they didn't have the right software for Afghanistan..

The ambulance is the least used vehicle in my regiment it has 7000 on it.

Although I am surprised that one in that condition has been cast.

And they do make very good camper vans

I guess the kit inside for broadcasting is worth a small amount? so it's not a standard ambulance.

Having looked at it properly it is no ambulance it is a BFBS and forces media support vehicle. All the broadcast kit has been removed but it still would make a good camper.
