WOAH :D that's brilliant! Nice find! How much was it in the end? any planned mods etc? :p
it was £1900 in the end. i'm really please with the price. 10 months MOT, tax exempt the interior is brilliant, when i viewed it last tuesday, i knew i had to buy it. the only mod i'm going to do is repaint it bronze green, the geezer is going to give me the paint, he was going to do it himself but didn't have the time. one question? with the bronze green, did it have the black camo on if or would it just be plain bronze green? does anyone know????? my brother is a sign writer so he's going to put the cross on the side and rear for me. another question. where would i be able to get the yellow plate for the front and the union jack stickers for her? any help would be appreciated.

well, i've just picked it up. all i can say is FOOKING HELL. i know it's a pre-servo brakes but it's got the stopping distance of a supertanker. that's going to take some practice  :D :) i might see about getting a servo fitted.

haaaaaa close call on the way home? :D
a friend who is an expert in anything old (cars, motorbikes, scooters, anything) came with me. he drove most of the way home. i had to shoehorn him out because he loved her so much. it's the little things like the no syncromesh and the width of her, very little rear view and the brakes i've got to get used to. but to tell the truth, I LOVE EVERY SECOND OF DRIVING HER. is it compulsary to have a stupid grin on your face as you're driving an old landy????? :D :D :D

the more i drive her, the more i love her. what a fantastic motor she is. i can see why people love their landys so much.
