Some simple things to check, then its out of my depth!
1, Is the battery new or nearly new? the cars eat batteries, and even a slightly flat one can cause all sorts of weird errors, even if the car starts okay that is not a gaurantee the battery is perfect.
2, you need to remove the battery and look down the back of the battery carrier for some large plugs, these can get wet/corrode, especially if the engine has been washed.

Well you have tried the simple stuff, so unless you have a code reader/diag tool its indy time.

You can refurb yourself its not hard and a dam sight cheaper. if you are handy and have some patience.
First you need to establish what type of compressor you have. regardless of what route you take.

OH do the drier at the same time.

i would not no where to find the compressor on the car or no where to get a rebuild kit if someone near hasting could do it that would be grate

On the D3 its under the car somewhere @lynall will know. Finding a garage to rebuild it maybe a challenge. Don't know if @kurtjohnson10 has branched out to doing the newer compressors yet? Kits are available from many places I got mine from X8R but you need to know what you have first.

Good luck, at least you have a way forward now:)
