i have a lwb 2a landy and i would like to know if i can add 30mm wheel spacers and to do something with the suspension so it can have more ground clearance! (noob)

Diffs are the lowest point of clearance, the only way to increase clearance is taller tyres.

A 109 as standard has 750's, modern equivalent of 235/85, I don't know of a taller tyre that you can fit that isn't so fat that arch cutting isnt required to prevent fouling on the bodywork.

The option that requires the least modification is probably 900/16's if you can find them.

IT may be that your leaf springs are worn and sagging, new springs and shocks might raise it a couple of inches if this the case. Have you measured the distance between the top of the wheels and the wheel arch? I considered spacers for my series 3 when I first got it to allow the wheels to ride either side of the multitude of speed humps around here but reading the advise on this forum changed my mind.

Why do you want to increase the ground clearance is an obvious question I am surprised no one has asked? For general use and green laning stock series suspension and tyres are more than good enough as that is what it was originally designed for. If you are planning on tackling serious off road challenges I would suggest that a lwb 2a is fundamentally the wrong vehicle.
If you want a suspension lift then I would check your springs as mentioned above. When I replaced my springs (like for like) I got nearly a 2 inch lift over the badly sagging old ones. If you want more you could consider replacing with parabolic, but that is a whole other debate. Either way you are not modifying or lifting the vehicle you are simply returning it to the correct set up by replacing badly worn components. Similarly 7.50 tyres are the original size for a 109 but not all 7.50's are equal and the difference in size between manufacturers can be quite large. I run Michelin xzl 7.50's on wolf rims on my series 3 and much larger or a rim with more offset would be beginning to cause me issues with the wheels being outside the arches or fouling on bodywork.

i mean yea maybe my springs are a little worn out if you think they havent been change since 1968! a two inch lift doesnt sound bad anyways !

btw its not for extreme off road but its because i want to do overlanding and i just wanna make sure i dont get stuck or anything else in the middle of nowhere
