I fear this post will leave me open to a degree of derision but I'm prepared to risk it
Back in the 'eighties I enjoyed my off-roading in a variety of Series LR's that I owned & became very experienced but since switching allegiance to RangeRover classics in 2001 I've never experienced the chance to off-road these capable vehicles. My current 30 year old steed is entirely original, down to the paintwork, so dry (such as dirt or sand) free of trees or bushes, but I welcome gradients;), would be ideal terrain for a non-damaging off-road foray. If anyone knows of such an area in Essex I'd be very grateful for the information. Thanks in advance folks.

Its a shame you wont attend the meet . I would love to see the beast in all its originality. I'm sure the day would be all the better with such a beauty there. We could try a lane together and both wimp out to the pub at the first sign of a sharp pebble. :D

Jaywick Sands ?

I'm in exactly the same boat. Bought my Land Rover to have "Adventures" in it, but I don't want to damage it. It's too pretty!

I accept these cars are designed for being off-road, but there are some historical models that don't deserve to go through that after surviving as long as yours has. Might sound a bit 'soft' but why ruin her ? Buy a £1500 Disco you don't care about and use that instead :D

Well do our damnest to sort a truly non scratchy route for LZ13, can't give any promises until closer to the time and it'll probably mean having to skip some parts but I'm sure we can.

we also know grass is one of the worst to gain traction on
