Dales Laning Weekend - 19th - 20th July - Everyone welcome

Price of fuel
Disco is getting a bit long in the tooth
Hostile ramblers (and the arrogant farmer on stile end the other week)
Stress of navigating, keeping a group together, making sure everyone's ok and coping with the lanes
Occasionally getting stuff wrong and having to reverse a convoy out of a dead end

All kind of caught up with me a bit today and I've had a bit of a "WTF moment"

I've committed to the dales trip, will still go ahead with that, but might have a bit of a break after that.

sounds like you need to take a back seat for a while ,let some one else lead and take the responsibility that what being part of a group means everyone needs to put in but sometimes a few are left to shoulder all the responsibility, i hope i don't offend any one by saying this, take some time off may be get your series sorted ,

+1 but don't get rid of the disco, stuff can be sorted

DO IT :D and fit a V8 while you're at it ;) they're more fun......when they work

It will be sorted, I've made my mind up now.

It won't be a V8, I've had one before (admittedly in a disco though) and prefer the way diesels behave, always seemed to be chasing miss fires, changing ignition components and messing with the timing. As well as permenantly watching the fuel Gauge plummet.

Will get put back together with dinosaur diesel lump it has at the moment, then if I'm still feeling the love for it, it will get a 300tdi

Now the wales trip is over I am moving on got planning this.
