We have a family birthday to go to but should be able to leave my place at around 7.30 and join in for the second half if that's ok.

Also can I state a preferance that you start in Alton area as I'd like to do the Devils Punchbowl leg, if not we'll still come so don't worry to much about it.

Hi, I have a full set up that you're welcome to borrow for the evening, I would offer it for sale but it's spoken for. Only issue may be mounting the aerial temporarily

On a general note - I'm keen on joining you guys, but am a bit apprehensive as it's my daily car and the only mod I have so far are mud tyres, it's a work in progress

Should be fine on just mud tyres.
Most of the lanes are nice and straight forward, there's only a few on the route that have some leans and drops and some deep mud in places etc that you need to be careful and steady but following the person in front and going steady with a safe distance should be fine.
I don't want to say it will all be Ok and then for somebody to break somthing so it's down to you at the end of day lol, if anything happens it's not on my back as I've had that before lol..
