poking update.

got sidetracked and ended up back on the Shipley job scratting round for a drum of cable for another job.
then...
stripped the rad and cooler off yours,
removed front grill (that bumpers a ####....)
removed timing cover,
timing ok.
emptied intercooler of oil.


head degreased, will drop off tomorrow if time allows, for a pressure test and a skim.
new timing belt to procure.
fell into the pub on the way home.

I don't like my "new" camera phone......

head dropped off last nite, should be ready for collection tomorrow pm, along with a timing kit.

I can be available Friday day and/or evening if you were wanting/able to start reconstruction then

called up after collecting the nipper from school tonight, bout half 4 ish.
hadn't skimmed the head but will do before closing time, will also fit the valve stem seals. saves me having an epic trying to get the collets back in, or making a spring compressor.
unfortunately the timing kit hadn't arrived, due in tomorrow am.

left it all up there, paul's gonna ring me when its all ready to collect, reckons half ten ish.

would you want to come up for the collection/see his place?

Well I enjoyed the last night laning trip where we met at a pub. So I thought perhaps the Anchor at Gargrave.

Those who want a drink and a bar snack can come an hour before those who dont. I worked last time. Pub meet and laning trip combined.

So what time do we want to set off laning. I dont mind

looking for a battery isolator switch ,with a key cant find one anywhere anyone seen one around ,also max amps required, or minimum needed ?
