Mite :p (bad spelling left as is) be a shock to you knobhead that mud dries up into unusable big, solid ruts.... grass grows back...... eventually after seeds populate the barren area..

Now, playing devil's advocate - they may has got lost as someone else commented, but why post up antics on video if that was the case? hmm...

Off piste ,if I'm not mistaken, invariably means ending up trespassing on someone else's private property, which due to how I was brought up, is not done.

in laning terms, its a bit like driving down the pavement instead of the main road.
deviating from the original route of the lane, including driving round a particulary boggy patch, or leaving the route to negotiate an obstacle.
its all "off piste", and shouldn't be done.
gets difficult when its been done so many times that the original route cant be identified.

These guys were doing worse than that, not anywhere near the routes. That wasn't what surprised me, it was the comments, on the GLASS page supporting them :confused::confused:

Not excusing anything here...know we were camping by nanty moch a while back and we met some locals...we commented on the tracks up the mountain/hill...and were told that it was the son of the farmer and his mates who had permission.

Now clearly that wasnt the case in the strata video and the off piste goings on in nanty-moch may have been related to other drivers .

Really just saddens your heart when you read some of the comments though...just feels with people like that out there shoving a big fat finger up at personal property, rules and responsibilities we and I veryrreluctantly say we ..as in fellow 4x4 drivers will be tarred with the same brush....they won't give a #### if all lanes are closed....they'll drive them illegally as they already are doing

well they,re not the only one's army instructor leading a bunch of there cadets on the capel curig climb to dolwyddelan decided to try and get a 4 wheel drive transit mini bus up the climb. he could,nt get it up over the boulder on the bend so he decide'd to point it straight up. he beach,d it on crest, but the best bit is he burn't out its clutch + all 4 tyres. but with the damage that was done i can't see that being open for much longer.

Its a very sad time, what with NERC2 looming as well.

I think I'm going to have to change my current way of thinking. :(
