What have you done to your Freelander today

Bought a new tyre as I discovered a wood screw in one this morning! Might have been repairable if it wasn't for the fact I'd driven up the street before noticing! :mad:

Hi, no pics....sorry, i always use CarPlan Back to Black Trim Polish (about a fiver)
always do it at least once a year....when i bought the car it had not ever been done, very faded but once i gave it a few coats it was like new...now a top up now & again is all it needs :D
 
Garage replaced fuel pressure sensor and harness and 1 injector.

I replaced the knackered bush in my spare centre diff mount with a poly bush ready for fitting at the weekend.
 
Jet washed all the mud off from Sunday, now just need to give it a proper wash at the weekend. Also need to get some underbody seal on, in various places. :)
 
just found part of the bracket/lug on the clutch slave cylinder mount had rotted and fallen off lucky it was sitting on the under tray so removed and welded with s/steel rods all back as it should be
meant to be a new clutch fitted but the bite seems a bit low may have to check the slave cylinder
then found the rad was leaking so ordered another 2nd hand with twin fans

spent the day chatting to two nice police men about the 6k+ of tools that were nicked from my workshop last night and how i wouldn't now be doing the front wishbones and drop links on my fl this weekend as all my tools were gone
I'm a carpenter by trade and that's my livelihood gone, sadly they left behind the alarm system i was going to install this weekend as well, knew i shouldn't have put it off but after 6 years with no trouble you get complacent i suppose :mad:

cheers mate took me a long time to gather them all up, after 20 years spannering on my own cars i finally treated my self to a snapon torque wrench yesterday (been saving for one for ages) and guess what was among the things they took
that and a **** load of bosch power tools and most my sockets spanners and anything else they could carry
 
Finally got round to fitting my A Bar and Landy Spots... Haven't wired them up yet as it started raining just after bolting everything together but the loom is in, complete with fused relay.

I've got a set of new bonnet letters to put on too and I've been thinking of fitting some DRLs in the smaller gap just above the reg plate...

I prefer them with roof rails on too as they look more beefy.

I put a Bluetooth alpine CD player in mine yesterday. Just need to decide where to put the microphones is like it on the a pillar but need to work out how to remove the pillers does it it just pull?

I can't remember the exact model but they are Land Rover supplied. I think they might be Safaris or something like that. I bought a roof rack with four of them mounted on the front, but the rack was too high so I sold two lights to my dad and, obviously, kept the other two. It actually ended up being a good deal as I've still got the rack to sell on...
