disposal of anti roll bar

hello i just bought a terrafirma 2" lift kit and all of a sudden been told i should get rid of the anti roll bar, is this true?

Also is it worth removing my rear ARB without a lift? theres play in the ball joints anyway!

If ou offroad a lot then yes, whip them off, improves articulation. But make sure you have updated HD springs other wise it's like driving a boat.

I have HD springs all round, removing them made a hooooge differance offroad, but because of me springs I dont really notice any change to how it rolls in the corners on the flat

need a set of HD springs but may aswell lift it at the cost of springs my rears are shot. Will it pass MoT without?

it should be fitted for the MOT as its a factory fitted item, but like deasy said it depends on how through they are, mine fail the mot on the rear drop link rubbers.....Was around £5/6 off ebay and half hour to sort, i only kept mine on to stop me popping a spring out

My local mot xhap knows my Disco had them factory fitted, so wants to see 'em at every MOT. He also wants to see them with the split pins through castle nuts, or Nylocs used .. Until I said I'm only taking them off when I get home anyway .. in which case he said OK ..

Ah heck I have play in the ball joints. I am going to fit HD springs by the Bristol and west with much luck. Am I able to fit +2" lift springs with standard shocks?
