Well been a wee bit busy today!

following on from my trip to the breakers ----

over the last 2 days i Have resprayed the roller parcel shelf and door handle and cleaned out the replacement inlet manifold and EGR.

so today was the fitting day!

manifold and EGR replacement.......... 1.5Hrs
Internal door grab handle.................... 1/2 Hr
Fit replacement rear dr window mech. 1.5Hrs
Fit parcel shelf..................................... 1/4 Hr
Refurbish 2 of the 4 alloys................... 2.5Hrs

That wheel looks like new,,,what did you use??

Some stuff i got from aldi many moons ago as a kit!

think it is called 'SX alloy wheel cleaner kit'

have to say its awesome and i'll be looking out for some more of it!

Oh I read you refurbished them, I wish I cleaned my wheels and they looked refurbed, as yours do!
 
on my quest to find the source of the water in the boot took out the tailgate plastic trim;
SURPRISE!!! this is why the rear demister isn't working.

sure thing, but I live on the 5th floor and only have a 10m extension cord, don't want to ask the ground floor neighbour for power socket, he is a "grumpy old fart" so it will have to wait till I drop a visit to the parents

Yes, see it now - very clean looking motor - not wind up;)

Thanks mate, just need to clean all the polish from the previous owners from the black trim, plus its mondo at the moment, just waiting for Austens dad to sort me out, then we'll be rolling ;)

Mines mostly mondo as i much prefer the way it drives. Where did u get the bulds then?
