Hmmm I'm getting air back up through the breather when I blow air down through the dip tube. Is there a pressure valve or something on the inside of the box at the breather ?

Update 2 so out for a drive washed underside and engine block still at it I,m at a loss other than totally blocking off the dip tube (is that an option ?)

Update blew through breather tube with pressure hose oil out of dipstick tube. Blew down dipstick tube plenty of air coming out of breather tube away to test drive and see what happens.

So 1995 4.6 auto with a serious g/box problem, its chucking fluid out of the dip tube when driving check level and it was right but now not showing every time I top up it blows it out? Wouldn't be so bad it it wasn't landing on the manifold and catching bloody fire! I've checked the breather...

Fixed the rear wiper which was as susspected siezed in its spindle. Now for the washer jet thi k the pump might be toast on it though. He ho just another tinker session sometime

Sorted looked closer into key fob new one never came with earth point! Swapped over with old earth boom now have working fob woohoo and words to that effect :cheer2:

Ah sorry no just an empty case replacement all the internals were are kept

Hello again, returned after a few years LR free but succumbed to a RR 4.6 hse 1995 model in conniston green hmmmm. Few little things fixed (exhaust, radio, steering to mention a few) now the sore bit new key fob acquired swapped out and low and behold nothing, tried the reset methods mentioned...

Cheers will give them a go. ECU arrived back today havn't the heart to put it back in yet.

Got my lpg system diagnosed and as usual more money required the joy's turns out the ecu is fried happy day's bidding has started on fleabay :(

Fixed the cruise control not sure why I never use it! and still head scratchin the lpg system prins vsi not swithing on grrr

Oil & filter change spark plugs changed coolant leak at throttle body fixed and a spare set of wheels bought for 100 squid well happy :cool2:

Fitted front light guards and fixed a dodgy earth on ma n/s h/lt

Fitted 30MM spacers quick sand and paint of front wheels (they needed it!) and fixed the number plate light. rest for stella :)
