Buxton & District LRC are worth an email. If you supply the grids for lanes you've found, they will tell you their current status and condition, in most cases. Edited to add that my avatar is taken at Stanage Edge. That's a 'downhill only' route btw, as is Roych Clough now.

Because winching should not be done on a PRoW, is why. Two of our guys went up it last October and it took them 6 hours! There was no way I would have even bothered - that's not laning in my opinion. The rest of us had a day out elsewhere instead. Winching should be a last ditch solution if...

khaos, what might be better and certainly more productive is to take a picture of them doing it. It is actually illegal to do it, so in the long run, it might just cost themand NCC for complicity!

Indeed it is. I've done the lanes to the south of Newhaven, although not Minniglow/Gallowlow as it is still VR'd to my knowledge. I thoroughly enjoyed Roystone Grange despite it's hard base; it's just a lovely lane through a valley.
