well then ladies..stop slagging each other off is what i say..lol

now today with help and the rain and wind didnt help (doing this outside) got the transferbox mated up to gearbox, props on, rad in crossmember on and supercharger inlet manifold brazed up..

next is to fit s/c and then cut out hole in bonnet...cut out transmission tunnel bit to allow gearselector to be bolted to gearbox..at present the floor is too close to top of autobox to allow it to fit...so cut and make new floor.

still tghinking about how to make dragster style gear shifter..

NEEDED 4 branch headers for rover v8, must have 2 1/2 outlets...
NEEDED o/s mount from chassis to transferbox mount (to fit lt230)

NEEDED lt230 remote mounted hand brake assembly..ie cable operated plus linkages etc

mine is solid linkage type which brings hand brake in same place as two door,,but since i have bmw m3 elecy seats its no good as really really close to frame.

NEEDED feckin idea on how to make really trick gearshifter...ie lokar/b and m type..
so far best i come up with is disco2 selector with moddified arm and knob..
want it look like this ebay..320754739346.(lokar, see previous for b and m) BUT not cost!cos i have no cash to spend on things like that!
i can make up arm and knob easy, but looking for selector base to use..(for 4 speed zf)
the full auto/manual switch i will mount seperate along with digital gear indicator (run from x/y switch).so does not need to have any indicator on selector...would be good if looks of selector did not need cover..ie like lokar (showing the engineering)

the oe p38 one is ****e!i just dumped a classic 4 speed one DOOH!

NEEDED...lower bellhousing (auto) cover..the plate that covers flexiplate from the elements that bolts up to lower half of bellhousing..
NEEDED ...autobox zf24 oil cooler
NEEDED ..power steering oil cooler..non in rad type
thanks

Fiver?

You do mean the bit that welds to chassis don't you? Not the rubber mounting block

i need the plate that bolts though chassis with 3 bolts in triangular pattern, 2 at top one at bottom (middle of upper 2) that then extends down below chassis at an angle towards trandferbox to bolt on to rubber mount

thanks

Yeah it is meant to be bolted but I welded it onto mine cos the series wasn't drilled for it. I've got at least two

Here's the for sale thread with pricing, it's just up at what I paid although for a quick sale I would throw in the crank I suppose but not the flywheel as I can still return that to real steel for most of my cash back

Lol, didn't fancy any more neatness/smooth profiling I take it?! :p

Or is there a shroud/trim to follow?
