water problem

td4 i drove 60 miles yesterday, stopped and found water dripping from rear of engine. The water was clear and as the rad water is pink and header tank was full dont think its from the cooling system. I did not have aircon on either. Got home and same thing but not so much on floor this time. Any ideas. Can the aircon drip even if not switched on ?? Thanks.

Hi mate mine does the same and the guy from the garage told me its the air con even though its not turned on. This has always happened since i bought it 18 months ago and its never caused a problem

thay all do it even if you have heater on

The air con runs whether the switch is on or off if the blower direction is on the windscreen.
Check it whilst parked up, fire up the engine with the heater pointing at the cabin or feet. Then move the direction to windscreen, hear the AC clutch engage?
