ok fitted replacement vcu from freelander spears uk today and it works great just as it should.
now the way thay have been is excellant rung them monday thay had it collected monday afternoon thay rung me wednesday and said that the replacement would be out thursday it arrived ok.
fitted it today well happy now .

But i will ring them monday to say thanks and ask them to keep me updated on the problem with the others thay have had back.
we will see if thay let me no where the problem was ..
