Another night on the spanners, and day for that :D

These will take some getting through :D

Evnin.. I see your getting on with it.. There's not much more you can take to bits !

I think you'll get through those discs quicker than you think ! Have you tried the slitting disks ? Can get them in different thicknesses, 1.2mm up.. very good for accurate cutting and they don't kick as much either.
If your using them on thin sheet go for a slightly thicker one.. they last longer :)

Paint choices look good.. 2 and 3 with Orange would look like Gulf racing colours ?
Hope all goes well.. :)

oh yes slitting discs all the way..you will never use a normal cutting disc again..i use 1mm,if used carefully they last along time.

blue chassis!!??black..!!

infact entire underside black..u's gonna waxoly i expect anyway...

oh..you so lucky..bugger all rust!!

Hey Stu,

Didn't know you had a thread goin' Lol

Looking good! Is jamie buying the gbox?? I thought he has sold or selling his 90

So I now I may have had some input in this chassis colour business... It was definitely stated that black was not an option....But I must say if it were mine... I would have to agree...Do the bits you'll see in what ever colour you want.... but paint the rest black.

Will look into the slitting discs, got these on flebay cheap so will use them up first.

Ye, no rust :D x member still got the paint on it  footwells and arches have taken the hammering the rest is good, could have something to do with the layers of waxol all over it.. All going to have a fresh coat though. Decision made on chassis, no sealer and you will have to wait and see, the body on other hand thinking the dark candy colour as a mate who sprays cars is coming to help so can get posher paint :D Will take some good pics of the setup I got lifting the box out

Got another afternoon on it, and got the box out..

Had to get a crane sorted as the gearbox was coming out of the roof, it's amazing what there is lying about at work..

Started getting the petrol tank off, got all of the nuts and pipes off the tank, then it wouldn't come past the tow bar, couldn't get a single bold undone so cut them off, grinder + Petrol tank :flame: luckily I moved the drained petrol and blocked up the holes so no explosion :p

So heads cut off, tank held up with couple of threads on a couple of bolts simply tap the bolts out and away we go, YE LIKE FOOK THEY WILL, bloody things are rusted into the chassis :censored::Cry::mad2::5bbanghead::5bsmash:. At this point I gave up, went to the chippy then went home:crazy_driver:
