hi everyone you've not let me down withthe other problem i've had on my freelander so i hope you can help now?

my td4 has been going well for a while now so thought i would treat it with some new filters starting with the fuel filter first but.......... being a freelander its now stopped:doh: ,

fitted the new filter went to move it and the E/m light is on and it just turns over with out firing up. the fuel pump is coming on do i need to bleed the fuel system? :(

thanks for your help:confused:

The fuel system is self priming so there should be no need to bleed it. Never had a problem after changing the fuel filter on mine.

Just make sure you have got the connectors pushed onto the filter properly or you wont get fuel through.

If your model has the fuel filter in the engine bay I remember that there is a small earth contact on the back of the filter/pump housing. Make sure that contact is fitted ??
