if i use an air ratchet, would it be easier to get the nutt off?
thinkin of replacing the shocks on my landy.. gettin it bck this weekend.

it hs OME susp fitted, but they are 100 000km+ old...
so it think its worthwhile replacing.
do i need to go for the exp stuff out there? im no pro driver and wont be doing a dakar rally in the car ;-) was thinking a more comercial 4x4 shock? and not the fancy stuff....
lemme know ur thoughts on this.

Anyone know a good test to see if shock absorbers are in need of replacement.?

Bit iffy/bouncy/rolly/small potholes seem to shake my head from side to side.
What other symptoms prevail?

I appreciate in advance any help

That's a symptom of the over-firm anti-rollbars that LR use.

I took them off my Tdi 300 and that aspect of the handling has improved significantly.

Also, the general comfort level has increased, only a tiny increase in the amount of roll on corners.

Suspension is always a trade-off of loads of different things, but for me, the without arb's is a more acceptable compromise.

Cheers
Dave
