severe vibration on deceleration

Hi Have asked this question before but cant seem to resolve it. I have a freelander td4 2001 5 door. On deceleration at low and high speeds it vibrates/wobbles quite violently it also comes through the gearstick. Have had propshaft replaced with very little difference, so I packed the inner cv joint on right hand side with cv grease as it seemed to be dry, had the car out once since and was a lot better. Would it be worth replacing the cv inner joint as they are expensive. Thank you in anticipation.
