p38 dse diesel injector pump question

Are all P38 Injector pumps the same? They all look identical but do they all interchange OK?

What would be a good price to have the pump fitted?

you need to find a bloody good indy, not a easy job..

I believe from reading other threads that they are all the same and also common to the BMW 525 and the Opel

There are at least 3 pumps used in the BMWs. According to the interwebs, only the one with the serial number ending in 994 is interchangeable with the RR.
Not sure if all the pumps in all DSEs are the same though.

Thanks for all the replies. So im looking for a 994. I have just got a quote of £165 to fit the pump which is from a landrover specialist which i thought was fairly reasonable and local to me too.
