Hi my freelander engine cut out and when I stared it again I now have no pressure on my brakes. I checked for fluid as the brake warning light came on topped up with fluid but still no pressure when braking. Any help appreciated

thanks

I thought it was that, I will have a good look the next time its dry outside. although I may have to wait till July or August.lol

or is it a case of it being very hard and almost will not stop ,if that is the case then it will be your vacuum pipe, that goes over the gear box it rubs on it,and you will find a hole in it

could be an internal leak in the master cylinder - in this case there will be no fluid on the floor.............

check for fluid inside your wheels as it dribbles down from leaking calipers / cylinders

broken break pipes of course are a possibility

had this problem kept topping up with fluid when the low level light came on. the fault was Brake pipes front to back on my td4 they travel side by side on the offside they were in a bad shape leaking fluid .cost me 145 total for 2 pipes front to back and 2 cylinders .fitted .
