Can do whenever I get time to wash it properly.

To complete the look you'll need one of my ladders ;)

That's what in saving for!
Although I'm planning on having big chunky tyres so will need to see how you adapt it to fit!
Also I will be visiting friends in East London a bit so will need to find a way to make sure the ladder is still there when I get back to the car!!!

What you suggesting about the people of East London? Lol, not much better up here to be honest!

Longer bolts will solve my mounting issues, maybe some sort of covering over the exposed threads between ladder and stud extensions.

As for securing the ladder, don't know if its possible to get some security allen bolts or something similar in M12x1.5

I lived in Barking for a year & Romford for just under a year.
I parked my motorbike in a rented garage in Harrow!!!!

My brother-in-law is from Failsworth, he & my sister are moving up there next week. From what I hear it's not somewhere I want to take my Freelander if I value my alloy wheels!!!

Thanks guys, looking at those pics again makes me realise how filthy my car is now! Needs a wash badly!

Its my first car of this type, previously i've had all manner of cars, and still got a BMW in the garage, but i think i've sold it today so we'll see. Gone from low slung sports cars to this, was quite a change, but i like it, apart from how horribly slow they are!

I had a 300TDi Disco automatic before my Freelander. Driving the Freelander feels like driving a sports car in comparison

I've come from sports cars to Land Rover's, so I'm looking at it from the other side

I came from a 180bhp remapped Yeti weighing about 150 kg less than the Freelander which made 110bhp when it left the factory and hopefully on a good day when everything is working as it should. :D

Are there many days when everything is working as it should? lol

Thanks very much, I like the shape of the 5dr, I just don't like the smaller doors and the way the seatbelt often sits in a 5dr. Although that given my car is often a 2 seater now, the side rear doors would be ideal for loading things into the car, but can't have everything!

This is my 5th Landy apart from my Series 3 they have all been Dad's taxis as well as a daily drive! A Defender 90 is on the list when both children can drive!
