no no thats unlifted, haven't got it lifted yet, hopefully will be soon, haven't quite got the kits finished yet, just need to get the bolts welded into place then they'll be going to plate

Looks good, but I'd be worried about rubbing on full compression if off road at it's current state so a lift would be great. I had 205/80/16s last time but for my new one I want 225/75/16 or 225/70/16 on the Disco AT3s like you have. Currently is has 195/80/15 which look far too weedy...

Yeah mine looks so much more purposeful with the spacers and bigger tyres on! Yeah i'm going off road this weekend in it, bit concerned about the arch gap, so we'll see how it goes, needs the lift before any snow falls though or i'll end up with jammed tyres.

Can vouch for the AT3's though, very good tyres, although a bit skittish in the wet

I've heard good things about them in the wet, as long as you don't drive it like a GTDi... ;)

Are yours worn in yet? I had the new Grabbers and Cooper ST MAXX on my last Mitsis and they were great no matter what the conditions, so I was hoping for good things on the AT3s. I do a 100 mile each way commute and hope they'll be fairly quiet and low drag too! Although I won't be driving like my Golf- much slower which should be more relaxing anyway- just hope I don't loose alertness at slower speeds..

I've barely done 1000 miles on them so hard to say yet, they do seem good though, i'm just over zealous on the loud pedal, been known to get the car sideways on wet roundabouts lol

Will do mate! The removable hitch seems a good idea so I will look into that one first. Any plans on sill protector plates like Mantec used to do? The prices on those have shot up due to availability. My first jobs will be tyres, spacers, wheels, lift. I need a good set of cheap 16" alloys from somewhere too first. I pick it up Thursday as they were supposed to sort a dry bearing (from valeting) on the aircon which I hope is just the tensioner, but they can't get it done in time and I really want it NOW. It goes away when aircon is on and under tension I guess? The first job is drop the prop as the VCU is siezing up after a run and as my commute is a long way I don;t want to run it until I have one form Bells and GKN bearings. Gawd, they've shot up!! £50 a pair last time a couple of years back now £90 if I'm really lucky!!! Disgusting! Still, gotta be done.

We do a recovery hitch too, can't do a towbar due to EU type approval laws.

Yeah I can make sill protectors like Mantec used to make, I priced them up the other week actually, if you want a set, or a batch of goods at a lower price, then PM me and i'll sort a price out for you.

You need spacers before big tyres ;)

Need to get my wheels done ASAP like, starting to look untidy!

Do you do the recovery hitch including the chassis mount included, if so how much?

Yeah I can do a class 3 type receiver. If you let me know the type of hitch attachment you want, I'll be able to do a hitch to suit for about £125 Inc vat, zinc primered, painted and delivered, plus whatever the cost of the cast attachment is as they're cast, tested and rated to suit.
PM me if you fancy a chat about them

Of course, essentials are always more important than extras! If we can help later on, you know where I am
