It's 4 dvd's actually and I'm afraid I haven't had chance to get em sorted yet but you are on my list of people who want a copy. Bit of a long list I'm afraid.

no problem mate....as a gesture of goodwill....you can also pass me a copy and I could burn a few more sets and send it to those on the list waiting for them..;)

oh...and give me a shout first before you'll come.....need to chill enough beer for 2....

Welcome to Memory-Map Navigation Software : Digital Maps for PCs and Pocket PCs

forget the laptop... to much £££ if it all goes wrong. buy yourself a dell axim pocket pc off ebay and one of these: Compact Flash GPS Receiver for PDA - eBay GPS, PDA Accessories, Computing (end time 29-Sep-07 15:04:45 BST)

or similar.

i got my p-pc for £30 and the GPS unit was another £35. job done! the gps links into the MM software and is accurate to within 2-3m. great tool for laning as you can mark up your routes before leaving home.

let me know if you need anymore info.

Have a look at the 'O2 atom' or the 'HTC-ARTE100'.

these are great platforms to run Memory Map and TomTom on as they have built in GPS receivers.

As do the HP ipaqs and the mio's advantage of an ipaq is you get Mobile phone, Bluetooth, IR, WiFi as well as the GPS. and as it runs windows mobile you can also run Pocket MSoffice on it.
