here's an idea becks the aa do a deal i was thinking of taking up, you pay them around £15 a month for recovery cover and part of that goes to a policy where if you car gets ill (and it will) they will pay upto £500 for the repair costs.

all thats needed is the car has to be serviced by a VAT registered garage, i dont think thats a bad deal

I had the same model.... but got real scared after reading all the horror storys on here.
Got in feb of this year and got rid of soon after ...had no problems when i got shot of it (had to fix drivers window regulator within a couple of weeks of buying it) but had no faith to drive it very far .
Constant water level checking, listening for the slightest knock,crunch grind.... took all the fun out of owning it. So went out and got the car i should have got in the first place ... a range rover with lpg .
I had always wanted a freelander aswell and i did love driving it, but once i had lost the faith i lost the love....
Realy hope you have no problems with yours .
Now back to the range rover forum to see the latest horror story there .
Oh well here we go again.........

Oh dear!

hope you dont mind dirt and general black stuff under your finger nails cos that seems to be what proper landypeeps are made of. we, my top missus & I are constantly full of shhhhhhhite and have a special kind of humour so we are able to enjoy our freeloader even while its sat on our drive lookin good but goin no where ? The cinquento or whatever its called does the miliage though haahahahahahahshhah enjoy the best of british and keep ahead. when it works it works and feels the dogs an you jus hav to keep on thinkinkin the dogs.
