+5 shocks already orderd and -2'' shock droppers , i no the body lift wont efect the prop i was just saying whats been done ,

thanks

Are you sure you want the -2" droppers? You will loose top end articulation.

Where are you getting your prop from? I have done a search as I am looking for one myself and found Gwynn Lewis to be reasonably priced.

Serious thing to remember is that you need a long slide joint with long shocks. You can fit a big spacer for big lifts, but long shocks need a long slide.

You might need a Bailey Morris custom, because it is my belief that a d2 double cardan shaft has a reasonably short slip joint.

You will have to clarify this, but if you're going to do something as ridiculous as a 5" spring lift then you might want a quality prop.

Ian, it is worth remembering also that a rear prop is long so the angles are not so severe. A wide angle will suit for the rear because it has a nice long slip, a double cardan would do for the front with the spacer as would a standard prop tbh, or you could fit a wide angle there too.

Double cardan props are great for motorways but not necessarily ideal for the extreme articulation vehicle where a modified type prop is perhaps more suited.

Yeah I think you're right. A standard prop on the front with the spacer and a wide angle on the rear. Just hope it stays on there for a couple of weeks lol

standard prop with spacer should be fine if your just using it off road . i think it should be ok with the droppers , i will give it ago any way

dont forget.td5 front prop dont bolt up to disco1 front flange.need front flange off td5 too.
