PLease help!
My Freelander (2000 reg) has been very temperamental starting lately. Some daysit is great, starts first time, other days it just turns and turns and refuses to fire. I have been told it could be due to the immobiliser/fuel release cutting out probs, or low battery in key fob, etc but fob always opens doors first time. Problem is I am now in a position where I never know if I can restart the bloody thing whenever I stop anywhere. Yesterday it started but then half way down the motorway ten mins into the journey the whole car just died on me - engine, oil and battery lights all came on and it came to a gradual standstill - and then would not start. Got towed to a garage who are looking at it today but am told it is now starting first time for them. Anyone shed any light???
