Disco 3 front wishbone arms

Well after the stealers wanted sill money for the front hydra-bushes on the disco 3 I decided to do it myself and replace the complete lower arm.
Got the bolts out fine so thought all was going well but how the hell do you get the arm off the car? there doesn't seem t be enough space between the arm at the ball joint and the hub to lift the old arm off. Iv tried all different angles but surly you dont have to strip the hub down to get it off do you? Any fast help would be great as the missus needs the car on Sunday. cheers

You probably have to strip it all off. Modern cars are a pain to work on and require you to take most of it apart to do the simplest of jobs.

Well I decided to remove the track rod and the drive shaft just to get it on. What a pain still got the other side to do but knowing all what has to come off Ill try and take photos and work out how to post for someone else. I still prefer my old 300tdi even if it is rusting away
