Hi Guys
Sure someone must have dealt with this issue so looking for some direction.
The doors on my 2001 td5 Disco are shut and locked and the only one I can unlock is the drivers door. This will unlock on the plip button, dash switch or key.
The other doors refuse to unlock. I can't even pull up the buttons on the doors themselves.
When I do try and unlock them i can hear mechanisms trying to work in the doors but nothing happens.
Any clues?
How can I get these open - it's looking a mess in there as my kids keep climbing over the seats to get in and out. Help...

The other doors are most probably dead locked, hence you can't open them.
Were they all working/ locking/unlocking then all of a sudden stop working ?

Yes they were all working then stopped and if you persisted with locking/unlocking it would sometimes unlock them all but that has now stopped

How do I un-deadlock them?

They need to be unlocked first, then the settings changed via diagnostic in the BCU.
Even if the doors aren't deadlocked, you won't be able to pull up the buttons in the car, you have to pull in interior door handles, which will in turn lift the button up for that particular door.

OK so i tried opening them from the inside but nothing happens. Drivers door doesn't Lock or unlock now and is permanently unlocked but button on key arms and disarms the alarm/imobiliser. When you try any of the locking buttons you can here it trying to do something - sort of clicks from relay in fusebox and the drivers lock. The other thing i noticed was when the car is off and I press the unlock button the radio screen comes on for a moment then goes off - this sort of indicates an electrical fault to me but I don't know where to start. How can I get them unlocked and open?
