Thats a great idea. Perhaps someone could organise a road trip for those who don't want to do laning.

Travelling along in a Landy convoy is almost as good as actually laning :D:D

It's a L O N G way off and in that L O N G period of time we may only have the option of doing a road run - how many of you are aware of a 'NERC2' bill that is very slowly (and quietly) moving it's way through various stages of parliament?

If it goes unopposed through parliament 'NERC2' will prevent CR3 from ever happening :(

Everyone needs to start making records of lanes driven and take photographic evidence, if we cannot prove the lanes are being used we're gonna lose them.....

I was really hoping to pull all the stops out with this one, assuming that we don't get legislated out of our hobby beforehand....

Fair play that Boomer .. so much planning involved it ain't worth doing much more until you're sure it can go ahead.

OTOH, if nothing happens, you've missed a lot of chances to recce (go out laning) parts .. :)

I just want to know all the effort will be justified and don't wish to call upon the services of other people in case their time and effort is also wasted if NERC2 happens.
I've already been doing plenty of recce work and other logistical nightmares(!) have been dealt with already, it just requires a little more work on the western section and a bit of trimming back in places and then a team needs to be assembled to make it happen.
This is the state of play at the moment, it's mostly in place and being held in abeyance until I'm confident that we can progress unhindered by legislation ;)
