Hi, Yes I gathered the removing sump part, wanted to know if the loom and solenoids are the same before shelling out on the v8 box.

Hi still on the gearbox challenge, are the solenoids and internal gearbox wiring loom the same on the v8 as the td5. Can get a cheap v8 box and could strip out the solenoids and loom. £200

Anyone know zf parts company in the uk? Have found some of the parts in addition to the above solenoid s, ZF Part no 1043 227 016 Loom.

Ok, current situation: Continuity test of all wires between the transmission ecu module and the plug on the box, all wires test ok, no o/c. Also tested against wires to ground, no connections so assume all is ok here. 12v being supplied to the transmission ecu. Oil level in gbox ok. I have not...
