Hi all,
Well transfer box now fitted with CDL and refitted, however, I don't seem to have any connectors in the vicinity for the cdl switch? It's a 53 td5 s, any ideas?

yes...it has the non-cdl loom...you need a proper loom or hardwire the switch into the correct plug... if you are up to that and you have RAVE i'll tell you how

Hi,
I have a copy of rave, your help would be greatly appreciated again :), hoping this will allow me now to get to the bottom of my rumble issue. Help away :)

Check with multimeter which "leg" of the switch has earth on it(it must have it via fixing, if it's not give earth to one leg)), connect a wire to the other leg with a spade connector and splice with this wire into C0681 pin 7(black/blue wire), (before that give an earth to pin 7, put ignition on and see if the warning lamp comes on) in the quite unlikely case that i doesnt work go to C0761 pin 1. That's all

you find the connector views and pin disposals in RAVE Electrical library - connector views...concentrate to not mix plugs or wires

If you are thinking of using the CDL to lock the diff so you can remove a prop as part of a transmission diagnostic, you don't need the wiring/switch etc as it can be manually selected and deselected from underneath.
