If your talking about what i think your talking about...... Land Rover havent admitted its a problem. They have said its a 'characteristic of the automatic gearbox'. Also, its not a vibration , its a resonation :) Not that it makes alot of difference to you. The older...

    18i petrol exhaust manifold

Just wanted to add another step for making it easier. After slackening off the lower alternator bolts and prying it away from the head. You can then remove the top altenator mount, just to give you more room and so you can see easier what your doing. Just undo the 13mm and 10mm with a...

Don't think Thay have a clue

I'm not completely familiar with the fuel system on the car, but wouldnt the pressure regulator have to be engine side? In the tank is only a sender, so no pump there. The lowside pump is in the wheel arch with the filter. The first fuel return comes from the HP pump. Does there have to be a...

    td4 v v6

Td4 is far more expensive for a reason. I'd expect to get 200k from a maintained Td4 before the engine required strip to repair. A Kv6 i'd expect issues from 36k+, but then when it comes to rover engines in FL1, im a pessimist...

Jatco Gearbox Fluid. What Are The Alternatives

If you want cheap autobox oil. Try ringing your main dealer and see if they have it in bulk and will sell it you by the litre. If they will, take an old clean container down and get a few litres. Might work out a few £ per litre, since they buy it 1,000 litres at a time. They also wont...

why are these bolts so hard to get out:

Or undo the 18mm bolt that goes laterally through the bottom arm and retains it into the subframe assembly. Then pry that out, gives plenty of movement to get the driveshaft out.

    L/R Tech bulletin for YMQ503320

Interestingly enough (or not), LTB00052 doesnt mention the wierd blank connector and the foam disk. To be honest, the foam disk normally goes over the connector to stop water ingress and if you cut off the existing connector you can thread the wires through the black bank and tape them up in...
