is it possible to get just the actuator or will it be a full turbo needed.
also how easy is the job to do.

Td4 Turbo actuators are about £30 i think.

It involves undoing 2x10 nuts as far as i remember.

You can buy them seperately, but get it set up by a profesional as the set up tolerances are very fine...... the wrong set up will cause all sorts of issues

Is it definately the actuator at fault and not the waste gate mechanism jamming up on the turbo?? easy to check just disconnect the arm off the actuator and see if the waste gate mechanism moves nice and freely.

yeah,its definately the actuator.the diaphram is not working in it

My advice is if you buy a new actuator take all the existing actuator arm measurments with a micrometre and set your new one exactly the same..... Then hopefully happy day's. One other point to mention would be when you have the turbo off check for play on the turbo spindle bearings just as a matter of course.
