    Shuttle valve

Shuttle valves or shuttle valve switches? I think the fault codes tell the difference. I think the switches are available separately, costs about £25.

    Freelander 2 audio problem

Sounds like the problem is that your jack isn't fitting, as evident by the fact you said it only goes half way in. My point was, that the line in can be a little quiet.

    Oil Service Due Warning

Oil wear indicator is an indicator of the state of degradation your oil is in. Its telling you, to get it serviced :) If it has been serviced, then they forgot to reset it :)

    Freelander 2 audio problem

Standard jack. Sounds like its not all the way pushed it on you have a loose connection though. I do find the line in audio on the FL2 to be kinda quiet though. Try turning up the output volume of the device as well as the incar stereo audio.

    Freelander 2 rear diff problems

I'm curious if you could be more specific about the haldex reflash , as im unaware of it. All the other information you stated is correct as far as I know and I know that if you install a new haldex it needs the software reflash, as they are uprated units (gen 3 to gen 4 iirc). The only reason...

Advice On New (2013) Freelander Tech Specs

Well the highest resale values went ; Grey back in early 2000's , then it went to Black , Then its been white the last few years (blame Audi tbh) , now we're finding the highest resale is on 'unusual colours' . If you check out the new colours available on the LR builder, you will see what...

    Service light info?

I would consider the FL2 the most reliable of LR. They are decent cars, but just like any LR, they have quirks.

    Centre diff bearing fault?

Well, rear diffs are common as hell in the above vin range. Wheel bearings aren't anywhere near so, but not unheard of. The above poster also mentioned the uprated bearings being fitted once, then the entire differential being replaced on the second time. I would say that as with any...

    Service light info?

I think the cars flags a service, when it wants to :) I'm not so sure about the earlier FL2, but the later ones use an oil wear indicator. This means if the engine doesn't do much work, then the oil degrades slower and its longer between service flags on the ipk. The service scheduling...

    Centre diff bearing fault?

I'm assuming by centre diff bearing, your referring to the issue with the rear differential pinion bearing? The quality concern is that of the rear differential, pinion bearing race picking up and causing a diff noise. If so, the noise will be noticeably from the rear of the vehicle...

:( wont go - replaced high pressure fuel pump&cam shaft and still wont go

When I spoke to someone Sept last year. In the UK there was 20 cases recorded by LR, I'm not sure about unreported cases. This issue was more common in the north of England than the south by a long proportion. It was put down to differing fuel qualities apparently. I know in foreign...

    retaining clip on throttle body

Don't cut it !!! :) Can you see the bit at the top left, that just hooks over the ridge on the top right. So to undo it , put a small screwdriver or pick under the bit and the top left and flick it up. To refit it, push it back together and then either use some clip pliers or a pair...

FL2 Diesel Fuel filter water drain??

Pretty much as lance said. Unbolt it , drain it from the bottom , bulb prime it. I'd just replace the filter though to be honest.

It would be great if you could find the actual DTC's that your car is logging. Would be a great help in starting to narrow down causes.
