I'm assuming that is a RRC with a Disco front end with plenty of off road mods thrown at it as well.

Now that is a nice looking beastie! The one in the first picture seems a bit weird as correct me if I'm wrong but there isn't any point putting a RRC engine in a Disco. So in essence you end up with a Disco with RRC front wings, bonnet and grill etc I'm guessing that isn't just a un bolt...

So what is this Re-Discovery malarkey all about, changing a few body panels or is it a lot more involved. I know the chassis is pretty much the same, just wondering the reason why, or is it just a project to do because you can?

Quick couple of questions for you guys who have done this, do you just remove the fabric or the foam as well? Also if you do remove the foam how much extra road noise is there? Quite tempted by this.

Whilst looking under my Disco 1 to see if I had a hole in the exhaust which thankfully I don't I spotted this well leaky bit. So what is the cylindrical bit connected to the propshaft which appears to be losing a little bit of oil?

Yep goes down then pops back up again. Bizarrely the passenger door barrel is fine, rear door a bit rubbish but the drivers door is totally seized up if I use the key, I would have thought that would be the best one of the lot. I should be getting a replacement barrel in a day or two so I'll...

The plot thickens, well sort of anyway. I've noticed that the rear door pin bounces when using the fob to lock it, it's fine if you lock it manually though. Is this a case of needing some adjustment or wd-40 or does it need something more than that?

Ok for now I'll spray a load of WD-40 in as suggested and hopefully that might be enough to sort it out. Once I source a new barrel lock and key for the drivers door I'll have a proper poke around as I'll be taking the door card off then anyway. Thanks for your help chaps.

Hi, finally got myself a 300 TDI Disco but of the few issues I'll be working through the main one is that it only has one set of keys. Am I limited to paying stupid amounts to a dealer for a fob and key or is there another cheaper way?
