how do i tell if i have 10 or 24 spline diffs? What is best? And diff ratiao?

how do i know if its a 10 or 24 spline??

in the last week or so i have changed front wheel bearings and ujs, then the diff went yestarday so i have taken front diff out just started on rear, Got half shafts out, oh and relised i need new rear bearing because they kinda fell out in a million bits, also new oil seal are needed, Think i...

Oooo Nice! was it a straight forward operation! I.e take old diffs out, Wack new in and everything is ok?

couldnt find that thread! ok well i best get to work on the back then! I have a landrover specialist near by is it a good idea to take rear diff to them so they can have a look! I know diffs are pretty complex!

Replace the rear too then? Doh

I seem to have screwed up my diff, But i am unsure weather or not i have done damage to rear diff? should i replace both? Here are some pics of how bad i broke them

Sorry should have explained, The cat car in fron is a suzuki sj with no roof or doors and is completely crap and i hate it... Untill, I try some big hills with big rocks pretty mad kinda stuff, And i did some real bad drrive train damage i.e diffs transferbox half shafts etc, Not to susre yet...

LOL! If only that were true! I feel let down by my landy :( I had to be towed through the centre of town on a sat night!

ok i have measured hub to hub and driverside is 1inch shorter, check radius arms and they look spot on!

How do i see if its bent? looks ok by eye!

Yo peeps! Looked at my landy today and relised that my fron drivers side wheel is positioned about 1.5inch towards the rear of the vehicle? Looking at the other side its definatly moved! Do you get what i mean? Hard to explain lol! any help please as its bugging me and i dont wanna keep...
