Top upped the gear box oil surprised how much difference it makes considering i only got a 120ml in! topped clutch slave, Replaced hose clamp off turbo as thread had slipped, give the engine bay a bloody good wipe down, cleaned down the brake pipes! MOT coming starting to get twitchy!!!!!!

Fook it i will be paying some one but the time i have bought the tools i need and hired a ramp it will cost as much to get someone to do it!

Cheers daz to me they look fine and stop the old tank good enough will have a hunt around to rent a ramp don't mind doing the job just not in the ****ing rain and wind on the bloody drive!!!!

Thanks for the warning about the calipers! how long do you reckon a competent mechanic would take to do the job? I have not got the tools to do the job and no garage, and its bloody cold at the moment!!! Yes i am a fair weather tinkler!!!!

So the MOT is coming. The elephant in the room seems to be the Brake Discs:eek: Front discs between 9mm and 10mm and the rears somewhere between 10mm and 11mm, now according to previous posts this is to thin :( if i am wrong please say!!! How much do you reckon for new disks front and rears...

the wires from the two doors are joined together into one connection block could this be a problem?

300tdi defender just trying to refit my interior light i have the two purple and black going into one connector going to the live and the black going to the negative and the earth all wired up to the roof, if you switch the light to on it works, open the door and it blows the fuse why???
