holy **** am I on a Japanese off roading site miserable ****ers

Happy new year everybody been a while since my last visit hope everyone is well ,have now got 300 tdi 90 its a dinky motor compared to the old 110 but am not complaining.

I must admit the box on my old girl doesnt like to be rushed I can see I will have to test drive one and then decide are there any tell tale signs of impending dooooom and major ££££££££££ I should be aware of CHEERS.:)

Hey up folks just wondered which was the best gearbox for 300tdi have seen loads of autos for sale on ebay just needed to no if they had any major probs or not CHEERS.

Hey up chaps seams I should apologise for using the j-p word remember the old hilux on top gear now that took some **** .Just looking for a decent disco for the ball and chain that will run happily on wvo/derv mix as times are hard my old 110 runs ok on it

Hey up chaps need to know when was the last 300tdi disco made which model is the most reliable , yeh I know should go jap but Im set in my ways.Auto or manual , what to watch for when buying plus mpg/ how many 1,000 miles are they good for any advice much appreciated:)

Thanks for the info , I forgot to tell you I already have power steering in a fashion just needed to no if it would fit always pays to hav a spare last one I bought cost 90 quid .Will hav to get underneath her this wkend as the transmission clunk seams louder after few hours beasting oh well...

Hey up chaps just needed to pick your brains about poss axel swap ,is it more or less a straight forward swap do I need to use disco runnin gear with the front or will the defs do .The 110 is drum on rear ,seams a shame to scrap such good axels one more thing will the steering box fit also...

Hey up yella the wheels were off a disco 1 when I tried one it wud not go flush cause the half shaft bolts stickin out to far, apart from serious fecking about will wait for some steels to come in .ps got round to reading fred on the master po dog was ****ing my sen give her due for lastin...

Cheers thought as much . Yella you seam a knowledgable chap I hav got acsess to alloy wheels off a disco freestyle me thinks ,is there an easy way to get them to fit my 200 def without major machining as they are to tight thanks.

Hey chaps update on the deflex bushes ,I emailed the company for a buy it now price ,£65 p+p for full kit dearer than I thought .Will see what the ones in the auction make .44 bushes in deflex kit ,16 in kit from island 4x4 ?

Im afraid I have to shatter your dreams but know of one or two good web sites that may intrest you .Anyway had better go before I end up with a sore arse:D nice to chat to fellow Landrover nuts.
