Hey up chaps need to know when was the last 300tdi disco made which model is the most reliable , yeh I know should go jap but Im set in my ways.Auto or manual , what to watch for when buying plus mpg/ how many 1,000 miles are they good for any advice much appreciated:)
 
yer right...c...lueless slitty owners..

think 300 started 94 but not sure..

all thou a 200 is exactly same cept its engine is better :)

What he said, You can run a 200tdi engine on ONE wire :D, none of this ecu **** to go wrong :D
 
shirly you need atleast 2 wires (starter live, starter fly-lead,<not needed once started> stop-solonoid and earth)
 
nah, gravity feed fuel tank, and a batt connected to your starter on a switch and it should run i think.
 
you have to have power to the stop solonoid or it wont let any fuel thru the injection pump
 
oh well, think we get the jist of what he meant though:p now get back to working out how big the carbon footprint of a ship from japan is with me!;)
 
Hey up chaps seams I should apologise for using the j-p word remember the old hilux on top gear now that took some **** .Just looking for a decent disco for the ball and chain that will run happily on wvo/derv mix as times are hard my old 110 runs ok on it
 
no i meant the ones i emailed yer a week or so ago, you was asking for pics of lanny for a website or summate???
