    p38 door lock wiring code

Numerous people sell Rave on CD on ebay from around £2.99. Can't go wrong at that price. You do get variations in them though but, for the money, you could buy two or three to make sure you get what you need. And they're ready to go in pdf format.

    ermmmmm, HELP!!

I don't think you have any options open to you but to take the heads off and find out exactly what's causing your problem. Irish - I remember WRCFifer. My God he must have had every fault known to man happen to him. It even broke down on the way to pick up the guy from the airport who was...

    P38 DT 99reg ????

From Rave: More or less what you've been doing but try it separately - ie press the button and then do the key lock or unlock. You have to have the check engine light come on when you turn on the ignition. If you don't, it indicates the BECM and the engine ECU are out of sync. You need...

    tyre pressure???? still look flat

It's always been a bone of contention with me as to why you're supposed to run 38psi in the rears all the time. 28psi in the fronts is fine but if you're running around with nothing or little in the back, surely a lot less than 38psi is more applicable? The same pressures for an empty vehicle...

    tvr exhaust

Janspeed do a stainless system that sounds nice but nowhere near as loud as a TVR. The TVR can be OK for a bit of fun but can get a bit wearing on the motorway after a while. I have the Jamspeed fitted. You have to cut out the rear valance slightly so the exhaust comes 'through' the valance...

    P38 Central locking problem

Check fuses F9 and F22 in the base of the drivers seat (BECM fuse box). These are the ones that feed the front door outstations. Different fuses feed the rear doors and tailgate.

    Range Rover Autobiography

RRB- Yep, the Vogue 50 is a vogue but mine also has the Autobiography badge on the slam panel. As far as I know, they only made the run of 100. There were two versions - one was the Vogue 50 Carin which had the Sat Nav at a ridiculous £71,000 and the Vogue 50 without the Sat Nav at a slightly...

    Alternator charging.

The voltage on charge is a bit low so the battery will not be getting its full charge. Couple that with short journeys and the effort needed to crank a diesel over and it's no surprise that it's slow turning over. You could try replacing the brushes and regulator but it could also be one or more...

    Range Rover Autobiography

Wasn't the Autobiography set up just a personalised customising service where you could have as little or as much as you wanted depending on how much you were willing to pay? If I remember from the brochures I have at home (away at work at the moment), that's all it really was. Maybe there was a...

The switchpack is powered from F1 which also feeds the radio, clock, instrument cluster and footwell lamps. Are any of these (apart from the radio) working? Do the windows work with the booster pack plugged into the cig lighter socket? The earth for the switchpack is located at the back of the...

It's also been on here that people have had damaged air lines if the exhaust has dropped at all where it goes over the axle.

    Over fueling

It's not so much pressure that you need to feed carbs. All you're doing is filling the float chambers. I don't know what the normal setup should be on carb fed Rangies but the last car I had with SU carbs was a MG Midget. That had an electric pump that had its own pressure switch which switched...

Yep but in the L322, it's called the BCU or Body Control Unit. It sounds like a classic case of battery and/or alternator problems too.
