    another year

Its a nice feeling. I had all 3 of mine pass in March. Only one advisory for a Tyre worn close to the limit. First time they have all sailed the MOT and I have to sell them all :(

    RF Receiever Location?

Yeah I struggle with understanding this as well. The spurious signals received cause the becm to send lock signals to the door out stations - result is that the motors in the door actuators burn out. Why the becm only sends lock signals and open signals is beyond me - why it sends any signals at...

    Colour code

Mine is also epsom green with a colour matched grill It looks fab however the wifes is rioja red and lets face it a red grill is going to look naff. The grill was well faded when we got it but a little bit of Forever Black worked wonders. Plastic back to factory colour and it looks fantastic.

    Squeaky Steering

One of mine has the same problem. Noise is more like a groan than a squeak. I have tried changing the power steering fluid & bleeding it but nothing has worked. I noticed from previous maintenance records that an owner back in 2008 compained about it as well. I have just learned to live with it.

    RF Receiever Location?

The receiver is located just under the rear drivers side window. Take the parcel shelf out. Look along where the edge where the parcel shelf normally rests and you will see 3 little plastic clips. Pop them out. Now put the rear seat forward. There is a screw there that you need to remove. The...

Radiator leak and damaged condenser - confused.....

Hi have a box of O rings that I bought a few years back. It must have 20 different sizes. Every time I have swapped a condenser or heater matrix O rings I have just used some from box. I don't think there is anything special about them - just standard parts.

sake of something to do other than cry

I'm not sure a fire extingusher is worth carrying. Would you lift the hood on your car to put out an engine fire? The only thing I would be doing is looking for somewhere nice and safe to watch a range rover burn.

    OEM or Genuine??????

I wouldn't profess to be very knowledgable in the world of towbars. I have fitted Witter units on two of my old Cherokees with good success however if I were you I would go with the Britpart OEM unit as you know it will at least meet the towing specs of the Rangie. Mind you both of mine...

    OEM or Genuine??????

The simple answer is yes. OEM is the original equipment manufacturer which Land Rover used as a supplier rather than making the part themselves. It doesn't mean its the best towbar you can buy just the one that LR fitted.

Radiator leak and damaged condenser - confused.....

You should also replace the dryer for the air con. The old one will be shot with having been exposed to the air. Also running the air con system with no gas is not advisable as the gas contains the lubricant for the pump.

Engine lining gone on P38 so breaking

Ok, so there are likely a dozen questions or more about why you think your liners are leaking but let's forget all that. If your liners are shot why not strip it down and get the block fitted with top hat liners. They will likely last longer than the rest of the car.

    More MPG - Hydrogen Kit

If this was the way to do it people wouldn't have designed the fuel cell the way they did. The fuel cell works in the same basis but swaps the inputs and outputs. Instead of using electricity to splt water into hydrogen and oxygen the fuel cell uses hydrogen to create the electric and water.

    More MPG - Hydrogen Kit

Now there's an idea. A Fart Harvester (AFH) fitted to every seat to catch stray rippers and feed the methene directly to the LPG tank. You could get extra MPG by filling up on beans and lentils at the services.
