Hi can anyone tell me offhand what size socket it is for the oil filter on 2.5dse, mine is 97 but has the later 98 onwards housing with large socket. appreciate any help. I'm looking at doing oil and filter changes myself when required and haven't socket big enough.:confused:

Hi i had same issue with mine battery drain on new battery although i had other issues it was all basically down to the r/f unit:) due to help on here, i am now running at present with the old r/f but with blue wire disconnected and at present everything is fine. so i would try that first i think.

Hi can only say had similar problem rear doors work on remote front don't, think to do with R/f unit burning out door mech i had to replace both front mechs,but think it would be good idea to pm someone like dougdotcom.he probably give you better info, or datatek they give good advice

Just spotted this thread glad you got yourself sorted had similar problems mine was due to the r/f unit in the end. although had to have both front door mechs changed, unfortunately i had two of the updated r/f units both faulty which didn't help now running at moment on old r/f with blue wire...

hi john i think you may have it there that may well be problem,plus the key and fob i have are well worn and its the only one i have
