    I have used an oil pump but like others have said it's good to drain the oil out the sump plug and check about while your there , Plus if you leave the sump pan bolts another year you might not get them out .

    Lucas Auto transmission fluid

    Probably just changing the auto oil ( with correct oil ) will work wonders . Most of them miracle bottle fixers are ok if your getting rid but I would avoid using it myself !

    If you copper grease the bolts & change the bumper screws for stainless then removing the under tray takes 10 minutes max . For my TD4 stock up on 5w-30 Castrol magnatec when Halfords have it on offer for £17.50 .

    New battery type/make

    The warranty is 3 years on standard battery & 4 years for the calcium one ! 5 years for bosch . My Halfords calcium battery died last year at 3 1/2 years old , Took it back they tested it & gave me a brand new one :)

    Mine was not to bad , Used a 6 sided socket & swivel head wrench angled forward to clear chassis , A hit with plastic hammer and it came undone :)

    Normal to rust in the front corners ( mine was ) . 6 torks screws and you can remove glass frame . Check the drainage holes at front corners & pour some water down which should come out under front wheel arch , Was your car facing up hill as mine will leak & make the head lining wet if facing up...

    Now 73,000 did the turnip test today after a 15 mile run on back roads back from the coast @ 30-60 mph . Air temp- 25 c tyres- 40 c VCU - 38 c Not a clue what this means but there you go :confused:
