    Probably depends on when the chassis was made and what the weather was like if it was stored outside until assembly-my 2000 TD5 is not too bad,perhaps a dry winter?

    Looking at the air intake under N/S wing,it is a slot in an arrow shaped piece of rubber-presumably to shut if drowned. For normal road use isn't this restrictive to air flow-cannot see how the turbo can see enough air if working hard-any views?

    You sure your first one wasn't off a petrol?Diesels have smaller pulleys as rev less+ more torque to turn it. Your 14.3 amps must mean 14.3 volts-amps should be much higher,if all electrickery swithed on

    Quite a surprise when it first happened,odd feel to the steering and yellow light on dash,and took longer to pull away-thought what the hell is bust now. Can join 30mph traffic from a standstill no problem,pushes you back in seat under full welly-love it
