i have a disco 1 and was wondering if i need hd bumper to lift it using a hilift jack or can you lift it up on the standard bumpers? obviously its safer to use a bumper with a jacking points but im just curious thanks

hi, yer i had a good day, liked the course, good size aswell bust my alternator when i went through the puddle. but i had fun, there are also rollcage only routes which to be honest look ridicously hard .well they didnt check the cars over so i think youll get away with it heres some pics

well ive done the epoxy resin and been on a test drive and as i write this all is well, its worked for now :D:D:D ill giv it a couple of days and if it is still holding up ill stick the guard on to stop it getting knocked

what if you fill the gap between the pan and the guard with expanding foam, that would stop mud getting in and easyish to take off if needs be

if the epoxy resin works should i give it a coat of hammerite or waxoyl to slow down the rust on the rest of it? which is best, as i will be putting a diff guard on to stop the resin getting knocked.

the stuff i got is the same sort of thing so hopefully will work:) well atleast you have proved it works which is good to know

the size of the hole i tiny i only just spotted it when i was looking for it, monkey 13 when you say cut the rusty bit i cant as the whole things rusted up. so i should really get a new diff pan but im skint so mite have to try glue if not then ill guess ill have to try patch it up.

i was just scrubing up the diffs to put diff guards on with a stiff brush and i have cleaned of a bit of rust that was holding in the oil it is now seeping oil out of a tiny hole. what should i do? metal glue to block the hole? thanks
